This is why I'm donating my birthday

I don't need any presents...why not use my birthday to do something good for the world?

This is my cause

The Campaign for the Restoration and Regulation of Hemp (CRRH) goal is to educate people about the medicinal and industrial uses for cannabis in our global society in order to restore hemp cultivation and end adult cannabis prohibition. Cannabis Prohibition is really about money and the continued centralization of economic and political control. Hemp oil is the reason the petrochemical industry made up the "reefer madness" myth. They renamed hemp, using racist propaganda, calling it marijuana, and lied to make it illegal. This simple plant, Cannabis, can be put to use as medicine, recreation, fiber, fuel, delicious and nutritious food, among many other things. It would fill so many needs and put Oregon on a path toward sustainability. Our forward-thinking attitude toward hemp and cannabis would create jobs, revitalize our farming communities, boost tourism, and create billions of dollars in revenue for the country. If you don't know much about cannabis, we urge you to take the time to learn about the plant.

This is why I care

CRRH is an Oregon political nonprofit and a federal 501c4. CRRH is working to implement the Oregon Cannabis Tax Act initiative petition campaign, and is the producer of a weekly live TV show, Cannabis Common Sense, with over 540 shows to date and has a web portal at http://www.hemp.org and http://www.crrh.org .... If you are going to file Oregon state taxes next year, there is even a $50 Oregon political tax credit, so the state will pay you back 100 percent of up to $50 annually when you file your Oregon taxes next year.
